- Designed and shipped help.osu.edu v2, a generative AI platform for university-wide support - handles case deflection via RAG-augmented Bedrock responses, automatic ticket classification and routing, live chat handoff, and email ticket creation
- Achieved 50%+ ticket volume reduction for undergraduate students; identified that lower impact in other populations was a marketing problem, not a technical one
- Built help.osu.edu v1, establishing the university’s first unified help platform
- Delivered the new BuckeyeLink frontend - a high-traffic portal integrating HR data, grades, Canvas assignments, billing, and dozens of university systems for students, faculty, and staff
- Built a PDF remediation service to meet federal accessibility mandates - accepts PDFs, enriches metadata using university billing data, returns compliant documents
- Led the AI-DLC process for sister development teams in an exploratory format, teaching non-AI teams how to evaluate and adopt AI tooling responsibly
- Technical mentor to junior engineers and interns; one mentee now an engineering lead at NetJets
- Saved the university $5000+ / month in perpetuity with small efficiency improvements targeting pay-per-use services

- Built an awards management and competition system for the Graduate School, used to run competitions and generate award letters distributing tens of millions of dollars to students
- Took sole custody of classes.osu.edu (course data served from Elasticsearch), performed a partial rewrite, and cut infrastructure costs by 50% by migrating from on-prem to S3 behind CloudFront
